After seeing Vlada Roslyakova in the Special EFFECT editorial in the July 2010 issue of Vogue Portugal, it appears the she has made her super skinny comeback.  The editorial was photographed by Marcin Tyszka and the stylist was Paulo Macedo. Vlada’s hair stylist was Miguel Viana and her makeup artist was Cristina Gomes.

There was a time a few months ago when I thought that Vlada’s career and her body were on a downward spiral; however it seems like she got the rest and nutrition that she needed and is now back on the skinny train.  I think she looks absolutely stunning and lovely – I’m so happy to see her back and super skinny again!  I hope Vlada can continue this way for a few more years…I’m keeping my fingers crossed : )

What do you think of Vlada’s skinny comeback?

6. D.K. Lindon says:

She looks great! Skinny and well-rested. Her skin, especially, is looking sooooo much better than it was a couple of months back.

7. vladafan says:

This is the first editorial sice about one year showing her superskinny again. It is not a comeback of Vlada but a comeback of Vlada as one of the skinniest models ever.
.
She is the only model i know, who is still looking sexy, when her lines are unreal small and her whole body does not seems to have an ounce of fat anywhere. What i like that very much is that her skin-and-bone-face is so unbelievable beautiful.

I cant wait to see her that breathtaking thin at haute couture next month.

She is so beautiful…sigh… I look at this site a lot but never comment, but I felt I just had to comment on this post! What a gorgeous freak of nature. Btw just wanted to say I love your site skinny gurl you are my number 1 motivation! I used to be fat (5’2 and 117lbs – yuck!) but I worked so hard and now I am down to 98 :) just wanted to say thanks this site inspires me every day xx

wow.your effort really pays off.congrats ^^
i am 5’2 1/2 and weighs 92lbs.which is the fattest for a long time.i cannot do anything but hate myself for gaining 10 lbs.i seriously need to get back on track.

9. Elena says:

Congratulations Chloe, your BMI is under 18 which is very low for a normal girl. Vlada’s BMI is around 15 now, which is very low even for a model!! She is such an inspiration for me too.

@ chloe: its so true that skinnygurl is beyond motivational. the site helped me get back on track too! one thing i really love is that sg has a ‘real’ job – the kind that other people use as an excuse for not working out/ gaining weight. starting law school was so hard on my dieting, esp. as everyone seemed to think it was like a sign of putting enough effort in that you didn’t have time to go to the gym etc. it’s great to read the site and remember that working hard at work does not require eating your face off- and that extra hour of sleep is NOT worth those extra 10lbs! and these pics are so beatiful!

11. Victoria N says:

@Chloe. good job (: You must look amazing AND feel great about being so beautiful!

12. Justine says:

Love her!I love how skinny and fresh she looks.
Congratulations Chloe!Unfortunately I’m still fat, but I’m working on it.

13. Chloe says:

@Justine I’m sure you are NOT but keep visiting this site I cannot tell you how much it helps! the tips on here are great advice! Just curious, what do you guys eat on a regular day to maintain? I know that i eat the same thing almost every day: Breakfast: 1 or 2 boiled eggs, lunch: a garden salad and if i am hungry some tuna or chicken, dinner i usually have veggie and lentil soup or some fish and vegetables. if i have a snack il have strawberries and apples. what about you guys? my number one vice is alcohol! I shudder to think how many calories i consume in cocktails on a night out :S

Vlada’s looking fabulous! Well-rested, super skinny – she looks amazing!
Particularly envious of her thin little arms and long skinny legs!
Excellent work =)
@Chloe – this site is gold. Congratulations on the weightloss! Can I ask, when you decided to lose, how much of your diet/exercise did you change, and how so?
As for my daily diet, I don’t so much have a ‘routine’ of what I eat, but I just make sure I don’t overeat as such. I find it’s easier to be able to say no to food without others questioning it, if they don’t actually know what I’ve eaten that day, whereas if I was eating the same thing every day they would pick up on it, if that makes sense? And yeah, drinks are the worst! My friend and I are giving up alcohol for a month next month, so it should be interesting, I’m quite excited! =)
@Elizabeth – you said it. Skinny Gurl’s amazing, but we all can be – we all work (or study, or whatever), but if she’s got the time to work, write up this website AND exercise/keep skinny, we can all do it.
=)

@Cass – I was always tiny in high school but when I left I started to gain weight for different reasons (not doing school sport anymore, going out etc & just getting older) and then I saw a picture of myself out with my girlfriends and realised I had become a fat whale! lol. so I decided to do something about it. In the first few weeks I was really hardcore about it because I wanted to lose it really fast so basically I ate salad and tuna or chicken and that was it. 1 or 2 meals a day, tons of water, and worked out for a minimum 60 mins a day. then once I lost about 18 lbs I started adding in more “healthy” foods and made my diet more balanced. hope that answers your question! xx

16. vladita says:

i am so glad about Vladas skinny comeback. And good, she is really superskinny. I hope she will a lot of runwayshows next season.

17. kait says:

I here you! When I was in high school and running 4-8 miles a day I weighed 117 (I’m 5’8″), but three years of college and no exercise later, I now weigh 122. Not much of a difference in numbers, but all of that beautiful muscle is now a bit more fat. This site makes me want to get myself back into shape :)
