Vlada Roslyakova – Beauty Headshots Fall 2010

Here are a bunch of beauty shots of Vlada Roslyakova.  We can’t see her body, but I love to see how her face changes – both for the good and bad.  In some instances she looks absolutely stunning and in others she looks sad, tired, undernourished and sports a very puffy face.

Vlada Roslyakova - Beauty Headshots Fall 2010

I bet she is having a really hard time keeping the weight off to stay skinny and keep working.  I wonder how much longer she has left?  What do you think about Vlada, her looks in these photos and her overall modeling career?

Looking beautiful:

i LOVE vlada, but her neck..it’s the neck of an old lady. but her face and legs are perfection

  2. Talia says:

She is stunning but has a terrible case of bags under her eyes. Maybe she needs more rest. She works too hard!

  3. kiss says:

I adore Vlada, but she looks very sick some times. I hope she eats enough.

  4. cass says:

WOW, she looks old in the “not so good” one!
She needs sleep by the looks of it, she has huge bags under her eyes! And not getting enough sleep will also mean she won’t stay as skinny, so I think a good rest would do wonders for her career.
I hope for Vlada’s sake she gets some rest, gets healthy and gets back out there looking her most beautiful =)

  5. Mandylinda says:

Oh I love her too and it makes me sad seeing her like this. She looks sick:( I hope she’s getting better and happier…She’s just too beautiful :)

  6. Elle says:

The wrinkles around the neck usually happen to people with binge disorders. Start off skinny, then they’ll gain weight – the weight goes to their face first. Then when you lose it too fast it leaves these weird creases. I don’t think I explained it too well but I have seen necks like that on a few of my skinny friends – it’s hard to stay disciplined all the time.

  7. Katie says:

I love her size & figure but it doesn’t look like it’s in the best condition…

  8. Skinny Gurl says:

@ Elle – good point and thanks for explaining. I never thought of that : )

  9. Anya says:

these photos will need major photoshopping!

  10. cass says:

@ Elle – that’s so true! I know people like that as well. Interesting point! =)

  11. Tana says:

Ohhh yeah I have definitely seen that before too @Elle…..This weekend I saw a few episodes of Life In The Fab Lane (Kimora Lee’s show…) She has them bigtime!! And she seems to have an unhealthy relationship with food….

  12. Haylen says:

These make me sad. She looks like an old haggard women in the ‘not so good one.’

  13. misswhippy says:

I think my neck might be going like that… :/ but not AS bad. Would a model get less work if they had to be photoshopped a lot more than the average?

  14. cass says:

@misswhippy, I’d say so. I see models’ bodies as much a ‘talent’ as anything else in any other workforce. Like, if you worked at a newspaper you wouldn’t hire the second-best writer, you’d hire the best, even if you could then have someone else improve the other person’s writing. The same with modelling, why hire the one that needs photoshopping more when you could have the better-looking one and save time. Does that make sense? (I have a feeling it doesn’t, lol. I’m bad with describing things lol).
How old are you? I doubt your neck looks like that (I bet you look great =) ). In fact, now I think about it, I’d be surprised if her neck looks that bad. That picture was taken on the catwalk, yeah? Or at least, somewhere with a bright light shining on her? It’s showing up all her flaws (as harsh and flurorescent lights often do). The bags under her eyes as well, they probably wouldn’t be as noticeable in ‘normal’ light. Ah well.

In these new shots I don’t think she’s ever looked better, despite not being as thin as she once was, and older.

  16. SeeMeDisappear says:

I adore Vlada but that third picture… I had to do a double take to make sure it was actually her! It makes me a little sad that working so hard in her job can age her so much. I think she’s gorgeous though.

  17. Angela says:

She’s very beautiful. yes she does look VERY tired/stressed/starved in some of the pics

  18. anonymus says:

I think her best time is over. She is looking old and beginning to become fat.

    so sad.

  19. D.K. Lindon says:

Poor Vlada needs to take a break. I’m sure she can come back from this – lots of models and celebrities have come back from worse – but she needs to get some rest if she wants to keep modeling. It would be a shame for such a gorgeous girl to wear herself out!

  20. Elle says:

@anonymus – Fat? please. She has gained maybe a pound. Gaining a pound is never good but it happens. Saying she’s getting fat is blowing it a bit out of proportion. I doubt you’re any skinnier.

  21. @DK: think about how this industry works. A break? Yeah, right. If she takes a break, she is done & over.

Her agency is not going to encourage her to take time off for obvious reasons. But surely it’s becoming harder for her to “do it”. At recent Fashion Weeks I’ve noticed she has been fluctuating a wee bit more than usual, and doesn’t seem her usual happy self.

The hours, the work, the “restriction” all take a toll. It’s not for the weak, it becomes more difficult as you get older, and she looks to me like she is trying harder than ever to keep up with the whole thing.

I commend her for being so strong and working so hard, because I think she is an incredibly beautiful girl, and still in major demand by top designers for runway. So it’s certainly paying the $$.

Plus, she doesn’t get a lot of print work, and is never going to be a commercial girl. (excepting some of the smaller comm’l markets where they love girls like this – Japan, for example.)

So, once she finally decides to step off the runway, life is going to change quite a bit. I’ll bet that she (and her agency) does not want that yet.

    Rock on, Vlada!

  22. marie says:

I have bags like that. Genetics but looks worse with little sleep. Completely sucks.

  23. vladafan says:

OMG : She is superskinny again and her face is more beautiful than ever!!

  24. Sarah-jane says:

She’s very beautiful, so beautiful that it is such a shame that she has such deep bags under her eyes.
Sometimes it’s genetic but it can be fixed!
They could put some conealer under her eyes – and they can also do surgery to get rid of them.

    I don’t understand why she hasn’t?

Apart from the bags she has the most beautiful face of any model I’ve ever seen.

    • I think that some people like them, honestly. As you say, they could easily use concealer on them if they wanted to – but most of the time they don’t. In fact I’ve seen her on the runway many times when they seem to deliberately accentuate/highlight them. Probably something to do with that “herion chic” holding over from the 90s…

  25. victor says:

Yes, I love her– eyes and all. Vlada is stunningly gorgeous. She possesses a very delicate, fragile beauty. Lots of young people have these trademark eyes and they’re still amazingly beautiful. I hope she never gets surgery or has her eyes stretched up and pulled out. This kind of beauty is the gentle kiss of nature and when it’s gone, it’s gone.
