For this weeks Thursday Thinspo I wanted to continue highlighting some of our favorite fashion models and what they drink. Enjoy : )

ah who needs advertisements for smoking when you have countless snapshots of these creatures toting cigarettes.
Coffee gets me through the day, really helps me when I’m working.

Smoking and models has always confused me. Sure, cigarettes are a good way of suppressing your appetite, but it also makes you age faster and get wrinkles and yellow teeth… Maybe they figure photoshop is easier than trying to stay skinny without smoking.
The smoking debate – I don’t think it’s so much that it supresses their appetite but keeps their hands and mouths busy when they would otherwise be eating, which in turn keeps them skinny.
The effects wouldn’t come for years, by which stage they’d probably be retired anyway.
Yeah, model careers are pretty much over by mid-twenties (not always the case, of course, but especially with these HF girls), and the effects of smoking on their appearance aren’t likely to have manifested themselves very much at that age.
Wow, that sucks.
I guess my theory’s wrong then, lol.
Maybe plastic surgery helps some of the girls as well then? =)
Yeah I’m 22 and I just quit smoking for good a month ago.
I’ve been on and off since I was 16, and even though I’m slim (and fit) when I cross my legs I can see those dreaded dimples. Eugh. Turns out smoking helps cause cellulite. Given that I don’t want to look like a piece of orange peel in 10 years time I’m quitting now and detoxing all the nasties.
Although I love the skinny aspect, even the skinniest girls can actually get cellulite, and there’s no way I want to risk that – no matter how much easier it is to smoke! Practising true self-discipline and will power to stay skinny is better.
Well, personally, I still feel that everyone – models or not – should not smoke cuz it is really bad for health. It is not a simple matter of looks. On the same note, everyone – models or not – has the right to choose, so …

Hehee for smoking it does make you not hungry, i am not model but i usually go thru whole day with no eating but only cigarettes and coffee and then i eat meal in night time

but i have a HUGE PROBLEM with my mom… i really wanna be skinny and it’s not hard for me to resist food. but my mom controls me constantly! she is afraid that i will be anorexic so she always asks what and how much i eat… but the sadest thing is that i’m not even skinny. i’m 5’10 and 127 lb! yayks i know… please help, i don’t know what to do with my mom, how to make her believe that i eat normal.

I have the same problem with my parents. How old are you? I’m 20, and I just leave if I don’t want what’s for tea – lie that I’m eating at a friend’s, etc.
My mum, a few years ago, freaked out that I was going to be anorexic. It didn’t help that dad then found thinspo etc on my computer. There were MASSIVE arguments about it.
There’s always the chance you can say you’re trying to be healthier/vegetarian/whatever, but if your mum’s anything like mine she won’t have a bar of it (even if it’s the TRUTH!). So the best advice I can give is to just do your best when you’re not around her, and bend the truth if that’s what it takes to help her settle down. (but ALWAYS put your health first).

i’m 19.
actually, I had a little talk with my mom and I had told her that i want to eat healthier food etc. Maybe she believed me, because she doesn’t ask me about food any more… and once i ate a little bit of dark chocolate in front of her, so she thinks that I don’t mind about calories and so on.
I have to say that i lost a few pounds (woohoo), although it gets a little bit hard to resist all that cakes that my friends eat when we go out

i have the same problem as you! im 5’10 and weigh 125pounds and went in to one of the agencys yestrday and they said i had ‘potential’ and that they liked my look but wernt sure about me yet so said to come back in a few months. plus my parents have started to comment about me looking skinnier even though im no way near my goal. i know im rambling but its so great to be able totalk about it with others because i know that my friends and family dont approve at all.all the best!xx

I drink a lot of Diet Dr. Pepper and it really helps my food cravings!!
just remember that soda is bad for you! and it darkens your teeth.
I know, but I do drink other things besides that like water and lemonade. I haven’t had it today. What do you usually drink?
I usually drink water.. and gatorade! but only gatorade when I don’t eat much. it’s kinda like a substitute cause it makes me so full
Lots & lots of water, its because if I do feel guilty when I had something sweet or a high in calorie food I drink plenty of water to cleanse myself
I do the exact same thing! Drink about a litre of water whenever I slip up
it makes me feel better and kills my appetite as well
The coffee and cigarettes remind me of my own diet. I need advice. I am about 5’1 and 105 and I would really like to be at least 100 lbs or 95 lbs. I can’t seem to get over this plateau I’m in. I go through good and bad phases but even after a period of being extremely good for several weeks, I still stay at 105. I don’t know what to do!
Maybe this sounds a bit weird, but try upping your intake for a few days. Maybe your metabolism has slowed down, so you can’t get through your plateau. You might want to exercise to boost your metabolism
just stumbled over this and that actually does work. for about a month i stayed at the same weight even though i was eating as little as i could and exercising often. then i randomly added a small meal to my normal eating habit and I have started loosing weight like crazy again
!! so try it! keep in mind that my “small meal” may be equivalent to some people’s idea of a small snack..basically i’m not saying to start eating a ton more, just a little more and only for a week or two.

I just find you searching for thinspo, and I must said you web is awesome! You just save me today because I’m going out tonight and my friends also have the habit of eat cakes at a lovely coffee shop before see a movie. Then tanks to you I’ll remember why, WHY I don’t have to eat a thing!!!
And also you make remember that I don’t have to drink that much of soda even if really full me and stops the craving!

im not advising this at all but i was at the same weight for soooo long, exercisin and eatin little but healthy and all, then one night like 2 weeks ago i was goin out with friends and just let myself down so much, probably ate about 2000 cals in that one sittin (bluh), danced the night away and next mornin i was under the weight i’d been at for about 2 maybe 3 months and since then i’ve lost another 2 kilos..not advisin it but im so suprised it worked out like that!!

Ha, that’s exactly what happened to me over the weekend! I was really hung over ate everything bad I could lay my hands on. I felt so guilty until I weighed myself, and I had gone down a pound or two from where I’d been stuck! I think a day of feasting now and then boosts your metabolism.
Yeah. That’s the whole principal of the ABC diet. It works so well because you’re confusing your metabolism. It doesn’t know how much you’re going to eat next, so it keeps running at full power at all times.
That totally works! But only for a week or so
im so gladi found this site! I can finally think about these things with people who can help me and agree with me,and not want to take me to the doctor or therapy:P haha

I dont Think those girls` have to smoke to be skinny though ! sometimes it makes it worst for those who do Quit years later! but cool the photos` and the coffee always` a good thing to have for caffenie not Healthy but not a badddd thing to drink for caffenie it helps Metablisim !is that right?
Coffee makes me get through the day. And tea of course. Keeps me Skinny. Soup, oatmeal, or a cup of special k cereal. One of those options a day and I`m good to go.
I just stumbled on this site!! I was wondering, what do you consider ‘skinny’?? Do you use BMI or..?

Hi guys! I love this site, it’s amazing, true thinspiration. Thank you skinny girl :* I’ve always wanted to be skinny like this beautifull models, but I’m fat and this really affects negatively on my life. I’m 1.72 m( 5’7.5) tall and my weight is 75 kg (165 Ibs). I know it’s horrible so I desperately need your advices how to eat very little and exercise. I decided to eat some cereals and yoghurt for breakfast, chicken, turkey or fish with vegetables for lunch and very small portion for diner. And going to the gym 5 times in week, doing mostly cardio. Is this ok for start? Later when I get used to this diet I’ll eat much smaller portions. I wanna my weight is 110 Ibs or 50 kg. Is this ok?
