For this weeks Thursday Thinspo I figured I would keep with the eating theme, however, posting pictures of celebrities instead of models.

Oh wow. I have to say I prefer the models. Could these girls get any less graceful while eating? It’s enough to put me off my appetite… Oh wait. On second thought, keep posting pics. Reverse thinspo, anyone?

I like both- it’s interesting how in most model pictures they usually not actually eating anything, just posing with the food, but celebrities are eating whatever crap they want.
How do I ACT like I’m eating when I’m really not? People are always trying to get me to eat something when I DON’T want it!!! I’m sick of it!! HELP!!!!!!
tell them you’re not hungry. if they keep pestering you to eat, ask them what their problem is — are they obsessed with food? tell them you eat healthy foods that fill you up so that’s why you’re not hungry 24/7.. they probably eat junk/empty calories and therefore feel the need to eat all the time. plus, they need to mind their own business, it’s your body and you have the right to do whatever you want. hope that helps!
LOVE you answer! I’m sick of people asking what’s wrong with me for not eating junk like pizza, cookies, and candy! The fat people act like I am the one doing something wrong. Let me eat my veggies and fruit!!!!!!
I tried spitting food into my napkin. Didn’t work well for me since my napkin just grew larger and larger. But it may work if you leave the table every now and then and throw it away (purposely drop the rolled up napkin onto the ground and then get a new one?).
I find that when you talk A LOT during meal, you don’t get to eat much. And people around assume I ate since I move my food around and lift my fork a lot for little bites. Honestly this works so much that people think I have a huge appetite when I want to finish my meal.
You could also try adding too much condiment to your food. People can’t force you to eat too-spicy or too-salty food if you can’t handle it. You can also criticize the texture of the food, which makes you unable to finish it or something. (E.g. do you really expect me to eat such a soggy piece of bread? This pasta is undercooked. That sort of thing.)

Ellie: Go vegan! And then that can always be your excuse. But you should eat. Try a healthy diet. I did a cleanse (the master cleanse) and lost 7 lbs. I got down to 105-107 (i am 5’7″) and since, have only eaten vegan. Haven’t gained a pound. I feel great all of the time. Plus, when I go out and everyone is eating all the crap. I just say, with a big smile, rubbing my tummy, I just ate the most amazing vegan dish at home/at this restaurant..etc..
Acutally I prefere models eating, too. (:

Thanks, y’all! But you see, I live at home and I’m 18, so my parents KNOW like what I eat and stuff. I’m 5’3″ and weigh about 90 lbs. Is that fat to y’all? My goal is to get to 84!
You can tell your family you want to eat really healthy because junk foods make you feel tired all the time (which is true for me anyway). Anytime someone wants me to eat junk, I’m like “No thanks, I don’t eat high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils.” Plus, I think butter and oil is gross anyway.
I wouldn’t say you’re fat, hun, you’re in the double digits, which is good. I’d say, in proportion, you’re similar to me.. I’m 5’7″ and about 110 lbs now (although after I run 16+ miles it drops to 107), and trying to get down to 100. I think 84 is a great goal for you, and you will get it if you exercise more and eat lots of vegetables.
you’re lucky you’re so short, you can carry less and get away with it! I’m 5′ 7″ and when I lived at home I actally had to limit myself to a certain weight (which was 15-20lbs more than i wanted) just so my family wouldn’t “catch” me and force me to regain the weight. –note: everyone in my family is BMI 30+ and at the time I was shooting for 19 but had to settle for 21
I have to say I think 90 is perfect for your height, I really don’t think you should lose anymore, you need to be careful with your health, etc. But of course it is up to you and what you feel most comfortable with. Just make sure you stay healthy honey!

@Ellie, I think 84 would be beautiful for you! my friend who is 5’3″ and 86 pounds looks so good in every piece of clothing she wears, and I’m sure you will too (: I’m jealous of you, girl!
@Ellie – I think you are at the prefect weight now for your height, although I don’t know what you looks like…
I prefer the models. They look healthier and it’s fun to see what they are eating. This was okay tho…
These people were all eating American style, with the fork up. I think the models were eating the European way which can tend to look more … hmm..delicate? In other words they don’t “switch” or stab the fork and each bite involves the knife and fork… You wouldn’t stick your tongue out like Mischa or open ur mouth really wide like Kim did if your fork is turned downward… Hard to explain what I mean.
totally agree & know what you mean. they look so graceless, especially Mischa, who looks like a pig here.
it’s kind of sad… I really do think that Kim Kardashian has such a beautiful face. But with those falsies (in front AND back, no one believes them things are real) it doesn’t matter how small she gets her waist to be (sigh). Because she’s enhanced her figure to such a degree, she’ll always seem much bigger than she really is, which is sad. I’d LOVE to see her one day with a 100% natural body– even if she didn’t lose any actual weight, I’d be curious.
As for Mischa Barton; (pause) god, I just feel pity for her anymore. She looks the same eating that food as she would throwing it back up. Someone stage an intervenion, please. Give her a job so she has some motivation to stop looking like a homeless redneck scouring wal-mart for rollback beef jerky!!
@ katryn: I know what you mean, people tend to look so stupid and graceless when they´re eating…there are some pics of Britney eating that made me positively sick, but I don´t find the link anymore.
This makes a good “Starving tip” too:
“Always try not to look like a hog when you´re having a meal, you will take longer, eat smaller amounts and be more careful with what you eat!
Imagine you´re your favourite model /skinny celeb the whole time, try to imagine what she would do or eat in your place.”

I may lose like 3 lbs instead of trying to get to 84. I’ll see. I just ate an apple for breakfast and now I’m gonna have a water bottle and pour Crystal Light on the go (Strawberry flavoring) in it. It’s really good, and you’re still drinking lots of water!

hon, your bmi is about 15.5 at your height and weight, you really don’t need to lose any more weight. if you want to be smaller you could focus on doing light weights often, to tone and tighten everything. i think if you try to lose any more weight you’d be risking your health, imho

@Ellie i am in the exact position as you! lol. living with my parents as well and my dad prepares meals which are often oily :S (and i feel bad if i don’t eat the food he prepares for me)
also, some of my friends tend to show extra concern when i eat smaller portions and they’ll ask me if its enough to keep me full. sigh.
oh and im 5’3″ and 90lbs too!

a girl at my work is 5’3″ and 102 and she looks good, so you two probably look amazing! I’m 5’2″ and 108. :/ my goal is around 90. How many calories do you girls eat daily to stay so small?

I’m not really sure how many calories I eat daily, but I usually skip breakfast and eat cereal for lunch and for dinner I try to eat small portions! Drink lots of water too! It helps! And Stacey, that’s awesome!
It’s hard to do what you want when your parents and friends are always pestering you about food! But I know you look amazing!

and yea i agree with Ellie, everyone has different body types. As for me, I try to have about 1000 – 1200 cals a day? but then again it depends cos some days i tend to binge (& feel guilty later). but yes, portion control definitely helps!
@Ellie yeah tell me about it, especially at family gatherings where there’s a lot of food and they keep asking you to have second helpings. Anyway, I’m sure you’re gorgeous as well!

This is why Mischa is fat. She used to be my favourite thinspiration, my absolute celebrity role model. Now, I feel so bad for her. She let herself go

I agree with Cassandra. Everyone has a different idea of how their body should look. A lot of people who knew me 10 pounds ago, make negative comments and I wish they wouldn’t. I have learned to just smile and say Thank You….
After a little of this treatment they tend to stop commenting on my body. Another one I like is, “I’m naturally thin when I’m not overeating.” Sort of diffuses things.
I enjoy the models a lot more!
@Ellie I hope you keep on doing your diet.
And another tip: Do not look in the mirror every day and do not look on your weight every day. Have a break of about 3 days between looking in the mirror. It makes you a lot more happy because you can see a bigger change (your legs, arms, hips whatever!). And when you buy jeans next time buy them one or two sizes smaller (if it’s possible-I women jeans I already have size 0 but in children jeans it’s a S (: )I hope it helps you and good luck!

rihanna is a good girl indeed. A fruit salad is a healthy option as hollywoods obsession is being really thin. so p.s you know how to eat.
And as for misha. she doesn’t look like a dog just because she has a bit of a bite from a piece of food. p.s she’s healthy anyway.
