I came across these photos of Katie Holmes walking with her daughter Suir on the beach in Rio de Janeiro Brazil.  They are a little old, from about two weeks ago, but I couldn’t resist doing a post on them.   

It amazes me how large Katie’s thighs and calves are.  Her calves are almost as wide as her upper thigh – gross!  This is strange; however I have seen it before in taller women with a larger than average bone structure.  What makes this situation even more puzzling is that she has a xylophone, which is especially visible in the second picture.  The overall result is that Katie has a thin upper body but carries most of her weight in her mid-section and legs. 

What a pretty girl she was, very thin, until Tom Cruise came along and knocked her up.  I wish Tom Cruise would go back to starving  Katie and making Victoria Beckham supervise Katie’s eating habits.

I was shocked today when I discovered these photos of Mischa Barton.  I thought there had to be something wrong, that the pictures were old, from a few years ago because she looked skinny again.  I double checked my source and discovered that they were from today - taken as she arrived for the Christian Dior presentation of the Haute Couture summer-spring 2009 collection in Paris. 

She is looking amazing, especially compared to her usual frumpy look and overweight body.  She has had a significant improvement in upper body.  You can see the significant weight loss in her arms and face.

 Here is the lovely Anne Hathaway at the 2009 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala in Palm Springs.  She is looking great and I love her collarbone.  I bet she lost a few pounds because of all the promoting she will be doing for her new movie Bride Wars.  I loved her when she was nice and skinny in the movie the Devil Wears Prada.

Here is Hayden Panettiere and her boyfriend, Milo Ventimiglia, vacationing together on the island of Bora Bora during the holidays.  She is so pretty and it really makes me sad that she has just let herself go.  In the first picture you can really see the weight in her face and her upper body, she has mommy arms too!
