Starving Tip of The Day!

This starving tip of the day came from SkinnyGossip reader Grace:

I just wanted to mention something that is really important for me and really helps resist temptation.

Always look your best, always have your hair exactly how you want it and keep reapplying your make up through the day. Have your whole outfit perfect, whether you’re a goth girl or preppy or whatever. Always project a perfect image of who you are.

Don’t skip your morning shower, or rush your makeup. Getting up early to do these preparations will help you burn more calories anyway.  When you feel perfectly presented, you won’t want to ruin that image by stuffing your face. You will feel more and more like perfection as you get better at presenting this perfect image, and as you get thinner.

This goes for your room too, keep everything tidy and in its place. This helps with your control issues and gives you something active to do.

When people notice this controlled perfection about you, they won’t care if you don’t eat much or often. They will see it as part of who you are, and be jealous that they don’t have the same self-control.

    This is such a great tip!
    From my own experience, I know that you have much more self-discipline during the day when you look good and you invest a lot of time in your make-up, your look and style.

    i agree, this is a great tip.

    I think it may be because when your confident and KNOW you look hott, you feel like you want to be careful not to ruin that.

    I love this tip! I’ve just found this website, and I have to admit I’m struggling…I get migraines if I don’t eat like all the time – what am I supposed to do?!

    I made sure I made myself up to look really great today, even though I wasn’t going anywhere and it has made me feel I little bit in control of things again.

    Possibly the best tip by far, I live by this!! The better you look, the better you feel! Especially in the case of your body. When I spend a lot of time getting ready & looking neat, it makes it even harder to break that image.

    And SkinnyGurl, this website is brilliant! I’ve just been reading everything! It’s making me want to jump on the crosstrainer, but I don’t want to get off this site!
    But I think I’ll go burn off a few calories and come back here later, I don’t want to be the type of person who ends up on the “fatties” page!

    ps: @cally – I get migraines too. It helps if you drink lots, but not icy stuff. Also, suck on sugar free mints or something, soothers maybe, if you start to feel hungry, the flavour will trick your body and because you’re filled up with drinks, your body will assume you’re eating more. Then just get an early rest, hopefully that helps with the migraine.
    Otherwise go to your doc and get preventative stuff, which also helps.
    Hope they go away soon!

    I have to say that I agree! I’m sooo going to start this! I’ll burn more calories and when people come over to our apt, they will think my bf and I are perfect. He’s a neat freak so he’d appreciate it too! Thank you so much.. plus it will also help to clean the litter box because then I won’t even THINK about eating after that one! lol Thanks so much.. I’ll come back and let you know my progress.

    love this tip. i’m always obsessed with getting my wardrobe color-coordinated. shall extend my neatness to my entire room and myself too. and maybe even my house and studies. damn, can’t wait to start! :)

    this tip totally clicked with me… Going to try this first thing tomorrow. I get positive compliments on my looks and attire but I could put a lot more time and effort on looking my best at all times ;)
