I have a tip that works great for me to help me not eat, similar to the lemon water tip. When I feel hungry, I suck on a Vitamin C drop. They’re the same price as generic cough drops and have the same benefits as lemon juice. And a bonus: only 15 calories. Three a day is as filling (for me at least) as three big meals and that’s ONLY 45 calories for the whole day! They have different flavors too so it’s not boring.

umm.. 45 calories in a day? this is how much this girl eats? dear God.
This also works with artificial sweeteners in tablet form (for example canderel)! Plus, they have practically zero calories (OK, 70 Kcal per 100g – but honestly, who manages to eat 100g of sweeteners?) OK, they really taste like nothing but sweet, but they totally work when you´re having cravings for sugar & candy!
(Or when you´re sitting in the cinema and everyone around you is munching on popcorn and winegums… that´s when I discovered this trick!)
But keep in mind to do it secretly, since most people certainly find it weird. OK, I admit it IS weird, and I am weird too – but at least I´m skinny!

@ Minnie: If your comment is related to mine – I wasn´t joking when I wrote that. It really helps when I have cravings for sweets.
I never told you to do this, too, so if you prefer to eat a lot of sugary trash whenever you feel like it, do it. I did that years ago, when I was like 180 pounds. There´s a reason I´m down to 107 now…

@ Fili: Actually, I was responding to orginal “Starving Tip of the Day”, where it mentioned the Vitamin C drops. It is the most absurd and irresponsible weight loss tip I have ever come across.
Although, I do use artifical sweetners, especially in tea and coffee. Tbh, I actually think your weight loss tip is pretty useful – even for those trying to shift pounds the healthy way.

I´m not sure if I really want to go down to under 100 lbs cause I´m 5´83 tall. We´ll see how far I´ll come and what I look like.
I can only encourage others who still struggle – it´s hard, but it´s worth it! Although I´ve lost about 73 pounds, I have no saggy skin anywhere (sports and body lotion, I guess) and I never had health problems like dizzyness, weakness or hair loss.
I´m not saying this to show off, but to encourage others who are also struggeling or still have along way to go… you better listen to someone who really did it than letting others (not-skinny people) get you down by telling you these “health myths”…
