New Faces for 2012

October 29th, 2011
Posted by Skinny Gurl

To make up for my extended absence (sorry, but work has been crazy - and damn, I miss you guys!) I thought I’d share some wonderful new faces I’ve discovered while working over the summer and fall.

The first girl below is Rasa Zukauskaite. She reminds me a lot of Anabela Belikova – but younger and fresher. She is from Lithuania, is signed with Next, stands 5’9″ (175cm) tall with measurements of 30-23-33. She weighs about 105 lbs (47.5 kg).

Second is Vika Falileeva. Vika is from Irkutsk, Russia and is 5’10.5″ (179cm) and measures 31-21-33. In the US she is with DNA Models. She too weighs about 105 lbs (47.5kg) – so gorgeous, and her figure is amazing! OMG - that waist!!

Third is Ksenia Golubeva. Ksenia is from Russia, is 5’11″ (180cm) and her measurements are 32-23-34. In the US, she is signed with Women Model Management. Don’t know her weight, but I would guess about 108-110 as she is slightly fuller than the other girls, especially in the hip.

Can’t wait to hear what you all think of my finds – hope this helps you keep the thinspo collection fresh. :)

wow, I am new here and I have to say that Vika’s waist alone is enough thinspo to keep me going for the rest of the year! This site is the best I’ve come across, and I love your rants about fat people they are so funny! It seems like you have a great little community going on here, keep up the good work!

  2. Allie says:

:) so awesome that you’re back SkinnyGurl, this is JUST what i needed! These new girls are awesome, <3 Vika definitely my new fave thinspo!

  3. Naome says:

Vika is definately the best. She is the tallest and the thinnest. Amazing! Szenia looks like she’ll end up filling out, like the only reason she is that thin is cos she’s young, I don’t know why I think so, but she has features that look that they are yet to fill out.

That other girl standing next to Rasa, I dont know her name but she walked a lot the past two years and there was something about her on fashion t.v, about being an up and comer two years ago or so, but I find that she doesn’t appeal to me because of her cheeks. She has Miranda cheeks, and I dont like it. A beautifully gaunt face is a must! Me thinks.

So happy to hear from you SG.

  4. Astrid says:

So glad that you’re back SG! And with new faces!

My favourite girl has to be Ksenia, I love the darker hair and the extra height, her figure seems amazing to me. Vilka’s hips strike me as slightly fuller on the animal print capris photo.

What do you make of Danila Polyakov?

    Welcome back!

    Astrid

  5. am says:

I misssssssssss you!! Thank you for coming back!! (:

[in my excitement to ... express my excitement, I completely skipped the post. haha. yes, that's how exhilarated I am]

  6. belle says:

i really wish the fashion industry would start allowing models to look more animated on the runway / in editorials. it’s getting so incredibly boring looking at stony-faced girls march down the catwalk one by one, show after show.
if they injected some personality into the stick-thin-model stereotype, i think the idea of being skinny would actually be a lot more appealing to the masses (in a positive, open way, rather than a negative one).
not to mention, it’d probably make these girls seem more like actual human beings rather than ready-made coat hangers for fat, depressed mothers and pseudo-feminists to take their frustration out upon.

    • Halle says:

      I totally agree!

    • Fili says:

I´ve never seen it that way, but you´re totally right.
People easily associate the models´skinny figures with their sad/ bored facial expressions and draw the wrong conclusions regarding their lifestyle and emotional state (which is a lot of BS, but people actually don´t get a model´s runway expression isn´t her everyday expression- if they saw some backstage pics, they would get that they´re actually having fun, fooling around etc)
When I read an article about fashion shows on some online newspaper and check out the comments, I see alot of comments about it´s “no wonder these girls look so unhappy”…

      • As harsh as it sounds, a model’s job is to look & act how she is told and do what she is told. And many designers prefer a stoic, cool, or distant look for their brands, – especially in high fashion – to make them seem less accessible. So while some of it is personality, it’s also the case that the girls are carrying off the look/feel they are instructed to.

Also, most designers are hyper-sensitive about making sure the show is about their clothes & their designs – and not about the models. The biggest mistake a model can make in a fashion show is to upstage the clothes.

  7. skinflint says:

    So glad you’re back!

Wow, Vika looks amazing in the second photo. It’s nearly like looking at the proportions of a fashion sketch…inspiring!

  8. Halle says:

Ksenia looks so beautiful in the second picture! The red lips definetly compliment her dark hair, blue eyes, and pale skin.

  9. Janey says:

Yay! I’m so glad you’re back!

  10. animo says:

Vika in the animal print picture is stunning, I love that waist and hips.

  11. Anna says:

I’m new to this site, but I absolutely love it and so relieved to see that you’re posting again. This helps a lot!

  12. IC says:

Welcome back, SkinnyGurl! I guess my personal taste in for skinny rather than super-super skinny! All three girls look amazing, but I actually prefer Rasa’s figure to Vika’s. She just looks a tad too angular for me. Personal taste only! They are all gorgeous girls. Love the red lipstick on Ksenia

  13. anabebs says:

This has absolutely made my week- month! i discovered this site in september and have been aiming to lose weight.. the most ive ever lost at a time was 5kgs but then i alway put about 3kgs back on :( and recently i gave up altogether but ive become upset with myself, today i decided to keep the weight loss going and i came to this site to become reinspired and i couldnt beleive my eyes when there was a new post! This is like a sign that i should keep losing wieght and become super skinny :P THANKYOU SO MUCH <3

  14. Georgia says:

Skinnygurl is back! Ahhh I’m so happy :)
IMO Vika has an amazing body.. so tiny and proportional, it’s just perfect.

  15. Giorgia says:

    love vika. she’s just perfection!

  16. Victoria says:

great to see that there are still news coming here. although I’ve just discovered this site a couple of months ago I honestly love it, it’s nice to know that there are people who share your interests.
just to know, does it sound absolutely impossible if I actually have a waist even a bit smaller than vikas or is my measuring tape just mixed up…? :)

  17. van says:

Hi ! I love your website ! It motivates me so much to hear people hating on fat people and promoting thin ! You should set up a FORUM !!! I wish to talk with people who share the same interest and in most places they sugarcoat everything and lick each others wounds. I prefer raw talking hehe ! Way more motivating !!!!

  18. LittleMissLovelyBones says:

Well, some of the girls are very pretty, but some of them are just unattractive to me. Rasa Zukauskaite is so forgettable, I wonder how she ever made it, but I suppose I’m not the one hiring models, so I wouldn’t understand. Ksenia is very pretty, though. She’s my favorite new face up there.

  19. tess says:

I stumbled upon this website earlier this week in my search for thinspo. I’m a freshman in college and am struggling not to succumb to my roommate’s horrible eating habbits. I feel that I have gained close to five pounds since I started the semester and NEED NEED NEED to get back on track! This site is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! These girls are beautiful. Ksenia is definiely my favorite! I look forward to seeing more:)

    • shuvee says:

It’s my first year in university also, but instead of a roomate I have my mother, who always cooks huge meals and buys tons of tempting treats. I’ve gained 10 since September. I guess I’m lucky not to be in a dorm room though, as I’ve been able to convert my bedroom into a food free zone now.

I always try to imagine what it would be like to be that tall. Completely different perspective from up there. And the body shapes seem so much different from people of average height also!

  20. MN says:

    Hi skinnys!

Just a quick question, im not sure where else to ask it so hopefully someone will have an answer for me! I would say im a medium-smallish person (5’1 and 109…ugh, im working on these stubborn 9 lbs) but no matter how much cardio/strength exercises i do, i cant seem to get my thighs small enough to where they dont touch! Ive tried yoga, Pilates, kickboxing. literally everything! Does anybody have any good tips? I dont want to do too many squats/lunges in fear that it will make my quads bulky! I want a dancers body, not a personal trainers! Someone help please!

    Thanks!

    • Indie says:

Hi MN, I’m the same height as you… and it’s really hard for us short girls to lose weight around the thighs. I’ve found that much chubbier people who are taller have much skinnier thighs. It’s where I carry almost all of my weight, even when I’m 95lb. Only from that point on do my thighs not make me cringe.
I find that exercise helps really little, they only start getting smaller when you’ve lost the weight pretty much everywhere else. Although the most effective exercise I’ve found when it comes to slimming my legs has been long distance running! That’s the only thing that seems to effectively remove fat from my inner thighs.

I fluctuate, and I always find that it’s hardest to lose those last few lbs to 100. Beyond 100 it seems to become a bit easier.. not sure how! Good luck with those 9! It’s hard for us small girls!

      • skinnybananas says:

This is so true. I’m even shorter (only 4’11.5) and my thighs and arms are the most annoying. I’m currently around 98 lbs and trying to get below 90 by the end of the year.

I agree with how it’s hardest to get down to 100 but then it becomes easier. It was the same for me after I got down to 95, but I never could get down to 90 ):

        • aelie says:

Oh it’s the same for me. I’m 5’5.5 and I weigh 107): recently put on five pounds. My thighs are crazy stubborn! No matter what I do the weight just stay’s there. I think I’ve lost inspiration so I’m so glad theres a new post!!

          • Abbey says:

although I am significantly taller than most of you (I’m 5’8″ and…. well the weight is embarassing) i have found that personally, the size of my thighs really comes from how much muscle i have. for instance, i quit long-distance running a couple months ago and my thighs have actually shrunk. of course, i am also eating less, but i KNOW that my inner thighs have shrunk because of the lack of muscle. so sometimes eating very little and not exercising is better than eating a lot and “making up for it” by over-exercising. :) and YAY I’M SO GLAD YOU’RE BACK, SG!!! this post was just what i needed right now!

    • melanie says:

I think it really depends on your build, some girl’s thighs will touch regardless of how thin they are because their hips are just not wide enough to have the space. I have pretty wide hips for someone who is 5’5 (34.5″), so my relatively large thighs (20″) don’t touch even at my now highest weight (:()

  21. skinnybananas says:

So glad you’re back, SkinnyGurl! The girls all look amazing, but I think my favorite is Ksenia.

  22. Giorgia says:

Love all these girls…fab thinspo!! they look soo skinny..I’m 175 and 51 kg but i look so fat, i mean compared to rasa i’m way fatter and she’s just 3,5 kg more than me. i actually look chubby that makes me wanna give up but maybe these 3 kg really maks the difference and I can actually look like her if I lose them…. sorry for that i’m just in a bad day i feel so chubby need some motivation..something in my mind keeps telling me i can ever look like that no matter how much i loose…plese help!

  23. Naomie says:

I totally understand how you feel. I on the other hand, keep losing and gaining back 7lbs. Its like I lose it in 2 weeks and gain it all back by the third week, after a relaxed weekend, For crying out loud, all I had was noodles and chicken! The next morning I woke up with a face so puffy and bloated my flatmate asked if I was okay. I really hate carbs and what they do to me, even when I eat it just once after a long time. Anyway, I got so distressed and depressed that I just binged and I hate myself so much for it. All those early morning killer workouts, wasted, gone down the drain, and it takes a lot to get up in the cold morning and head out to the gym!

I’m trying to move past the situation and motivate myself back into working out. It;s my birthday on the 26th and am so nervous I’m not even sure I want to treat myself to anything. I’m not telling anyone at my workplace either and gladly my close friend (real friend) is away at uni, so…..

Such a sad life. I used to be so happy with eating restricted and working out cos I loved watching the pounds melt away, but now its been such a struggle I’m finding myself in tears for no reason. The weather is so cold for salads and the sodium in soups, even home made, makes me bloat :-(

    • Giorgia says:

OMG!! we’re in the pretty same situation.. those 3 kilos makes me mad.. and when i feel chubby I do binge wich makes things even worse!! I’m going to a party on the 26th and I’d love to look my best I need to! We need to stay motivated not everything is wasted I’m trying to fast and today I did also went to the gym wich was suicidal but I did it :) I’m going to fast even tomorrow hope it will help! we can be skinny hubbies:) maybe it will hwlp us staying motivated!! Good luck and keep on truck!!

    • Tessy says:

Oh wow! My birthday is on the 26th too! I totally understand where you’re coming from, but don’t be so hard on yourself! I’ve been doing the exact same thing- restricting and working out and then blowing all my hard work with crazy binges- but the truth is a few binges doesn’t really cause long lasting weight gain, it’s only water weight. It’s that feeling of such sacrifice being for nothing, that sense of self disgust that makes it really damaging. So be kind to yourself! Also I find if I really can’t stop the binges, I’ve been too restrictive. Better to up your intake and do it slowly than go through the stress of failure!

  24. k says:

Good to have you back <3 I have been missing the updates.
Vika is amazing. I love her face as well.

  25. Jess says:

Ksenia is stunning, love the way the jeans(?) sit on her in the last pic. Must admit though Vika’s waist in that skirt – WOW! Definitely something to work towards.

And I’m loving this site – so inspirational and none of that ‘it’s ok to be on the larger side’ type talk!!

  26. lexi says:

YAY you’re back!! (please please please say you’re back and this isn’t a tease!!) I’ve missed this site and the thinspo … much needed now as winter rolls around :( )

  27. Shay says:

Thank god you’re back. I’m sick of how this ‘real women have curves’ crap is a free pass to binge and not exercise. Thank you for saying “fat” and not sugar-coating it as being “curvy”.

  28. aelie says:

Please please please keep posting. I just started gaining back what I worked so hard for and I really need the motivation and advice right now. I just seemed to lose control of my diet. These girls are gorgeous! So skinny! My favorites Vika(:

  29. Georgia says:

Hey girls, just out of curiosity, what does a regular day of eating involve for you? Do you avoid eating until dinner, or eat all your calories at breakfast? Do you not eat at all, some days? What foods do you eat mostly? Sorry if this seems rude but I just need help, this forum is amazing and I’d love to hear what you all have to say!

    • Abbey says:

i am in high school, and luckily most of my teachers are strictly anti-food-in-the-classroom enforcers, so no snacking for me. for breakfast i have hot chocolate (just to treat myself a little :) and for the caffeine). then at lunch i usually have a turkey sandwich with mustard and pineapple slices. then right after school i normally have a soda and fast food (i know… it’s a horrible habit) but just the right amount to where my stomach is growling by bedtime… i love that feeling when you go to sleep hungry b/c then you know you’re starting off your next day in an amazing way! and i have lost at least 5 lbs since i started this pattern, but i haven’t checked the scale in a day or two, so let’s hope it’s more!

    • aelie says:

Well for me it’s my 80 calorie yogurt for breakfast, then I don’t ever have over 500 calories for dinner. But I always eat massive amounts of fruit and veggies on the weekends its terrible):

  30. IC says:

For losing (maintaining is a lot more flexible):
On weekdays, no breakfast – I know you’re supposed to have it to kickstart your metabolism, but I just do 40+ min of exercise to achieve that instead – that way I’re forced to burn body fat as you’re still in starvation mode after a night with no fuel.

Lunch and dinner, I try to eat mostly only my own homemade vege soup (no cream, no potato) unless there is an important social meal on. Lots of cayenne pepper for antioxidants and spiciness for boosting metabolism.
On weekends, I go out for at least one nice/expensive meal prepared with fresh ingredients, sometimes even multiple-course fine dining, and on Sundays I cook up a feast at home.

ie. I restrict a lot during the week (while still having delicious soup that I like), and then eat pretty much whatever I want on weekends. The trick is I’ve kind of weaned my palate off even wanting things like fast food, fried Chinese snacks, packaged mass-produced chocolate (though I will eat some fine handmade chocolate).
Also, at least 6 days a week I do at least 80 minutes of exercise a day.

    • Sammy says:

How much weight did you lose on this diet?

      • IC says:

Well the first year I lost 18kg (almost 40lb) by being much more extreme than what was described above, but I was constantly miserable and starving… so then the second year I lost another almost 10kg by doing what I described———– above, which isn’t so much a diet as a lifestyle and philosophy change :)

  31. Selena says:

OMG, these girls look stunning and they make amazing thinspos!

  32. AnnaLeah says:

Wow, they are lovely! I’d love to look like that … rather, I’m working on it. Does anyone have any tips to prevent snacking throughout the day? I’m 19 and 5’10 and … 129 pounds, yuck, I know. I’d like to get down to 115 or so, maybe less, depending. I tend to eat around 1400-1500 calories a day (at least, on a less-than-desirable day), but I know that if I stick to 1200 or so, I will lose. However, sometimes I get really dizzy if I don’t eat for 5 hours or so … Does anyone have any tricks for making dizziness go away, or just how to avoid it somehow?

I actually want to be a fashion model, I’m possibly taking next year off college to do so. At the moment, my measurements are 31-25-36. Eugh. I want them to be more like 30-24-32. I hate my bottom – it seems to be the only place on me that likes to gain weight. If I lost some pounds, I think that I could fit nicely into a 2 (I’m a 4 right now, but I’m sure it looks bigger than that!) ;) Does anyone have any good tips for weight loss off of that section? I’ve heard that you can’t “spot-target” fat, but I’m not so sure…

  33. hunnybunches says:

WOW! Vika is not only skinny, but beautiful too! This new post just made my day and inspired me to keep loosing weigth. I am thinking of going no carb for the next week, since my mom is doing it so we are having mostly non carb meals at home any way. I am so happy i wont have to work to hide my new diet. I am so happy you are back Skinny Gurl. Must get skinny for thanksgiving:)

  34. hunnybunches says:

hey guys, i know i just commented, but is anyone here around 5’8 or 5’9. if so, i would love to know your weight and diet tricks, since i am tipping the scales at 120. i know…gross.

    • Abbey says:

I’m 5’8″…. and 118 at the moment… even typing it makes me wanna cry… :’( right now I’m just trying to cut out fat. carbs I can handle, but fat is just a big NO-NO. so for me that means a lot of tea and candy, which are both fat free. healthy, right? ha. whatever, i mean who’d rather be healthy over skinny? not me.

    • CandC says:

Hey :-) I’m 5’9″ and 46kg (about 101 pounds, I think). I’m maintaining at the moment. I have Celiac’s Disease, so can’t eat gluten anyway, but also I follow a raw vegan diet (100% vegan, at least 75% raw). The thing – at leas for me – with raw veganism has been that it’s very time consuming and involves a lot of effort, but you do get to eat loads volume-wise, and I find myself not getting hungry. I think the fact that it’s no refined sugars or carbs, all organic, almost-all uncooked and nutritious actually makes a difference to my weight and the way my body looks without me having to eat teeny-tiny meals (I don’t know how people who eat a single yoghurt a day do it – I’d just binge). I eat six “meals” a day, though some of them consist of just fruit and/or veg.

Raw vegan isn’t for everyone, and I don’t recommend anyone try it without fully thinking it through. Even for me, 100% raw didn’t keep me totally healthy. So I’ll have something cooked every day usually, and I also drink herbal tea, because it’s delicious and it helps me participate in social situations without feeling too much of a freak (as I don’t drink coffee, black tea, sugared juices, soft drinks, etc).

In a way, it’s actually quite freeing to be able to eat as much as you want of only a few types of food. I only have raw vegan food in the house, and it’s basically impossible to binge on… If I’m hungry, I eat somehing, even just some raw veges. I’ve had to add some more raw nuts to my diet, and coconut milk to my smoothies in the morning to make sure I don’t lose more weight (I think I could go a couple of kgs lower, but I like my body where it is here).

For exercise, I do daily walking and yoga, and twice-weekly zumba.

And don’t worry, 120 isn’t gross at all :-) I was 122 four years ago, you can do it!

      • Cat says:

Wow – I love the sound of your diet and lifestyle! I’m vegan, and usually raw-until-dinner, simply because chance had it that I prefer fruit and salad during my days!
Lately I’ve just started losing again, sadly can’t count calories because it is an ED trigger for me, but what I’ve found is really effective is 24hr water fasts.
For example, last Monday I ate really light (an orange, some raw veggies and a little salsa), followed by a fast on Tuesday, and another really light day on Wednesday. It works really well to jolt my body into losing, really shrinks my stomach, and because I’m not obsessing about calories I personally find it easier not to binge. It actually feels more like a fun challenge than an unhappy battle with myself.
And, in a few weeks I may just report back with some stats, but at the moment I’m not proud of them enough yet to share :p

      • hunnybunches says:

wow..you are so skinny! you are my thinspiration!!! Just wondering, because you are so skinny, do you have any other health problems? (that come from you skinniness…)

  35. hunnybunches says:

    AGREED!

  36. Fgum says:

i missed this site! I think it’s the first time i’ve commented, but I’ve loved it for years.
nice to have you back, girl.
i bet you get a lot of real life thinspo, lucky!

  37. want2benvied says:

omg, awesome to hear from you again!! i missed you! you should do a post about new years resolutions? Or how about thinspo to kick off the new year with some good movitation?? keep up the good work!

    • hunnybunches says:

new years resolutions would be awesome!….mine is to loose at least 10 lbs a month, for 2 months, or 5 lbs for 4.

also, i am doing a new thing where i have a “menu” for every meal with about 15 low cal things on it. This way i can switch it up, but still loose the weigth.

  38. Violette says:

I hadn’t looked here since about last June and am glad I didn’t miss anything. I love this site and just remembered it. These girls are very inspirational.
    I like Vika especially.

  39. Masi says:

Vika is beautiful, but Rasa is no Anabela. Anabela will always be my perfect thinspo.

  40. Abbey says:

I can’t wait till i’m out of high school and i can eat what i want! my mom makes me so angry sometimes, always nagging me about eating like i’m a five year old! i mean, come on! I know what is good for me, not YOU! sheesh. seriously, when i go to college, I’m gonna lose ten pounds just to make a point. and i’ll be glowing and happy and FREE!

  41. Emma!:) says:

    her waist..holy god! want!

  42. Heather says:

I find the linear beauty of delecate bone structure, high cheekbones, and lumonous eyes to be breathtaking. The way they move and stand reminds me of a gazelle or a dainty little deer. Who wouldnt want to be a little deer prancing about on slender legs???

I wonder if Vika ever tightlaced to reduce her waist to such amazing size. Any of you lovely skinnies ever thought of some tightlacing to reduce down the actual bone structure to smaller sizes?? Im thinking about trying it myself.

Btw Ksenia is very lovely, but in a beautiful, slender next door neighbor type. Maybe she could be a charming side character for a sitcom instead? She just doesnt have that certain high fashion fierce look.
