Kristen Bell was pictured eating a salad at the Alcove Cafe in Los Angeles not too long ago.  I’ve always given Kristen a hard time about her weight, especially in her lower legs and ankles, and thought after seeing her eat a salad I should cut her some slack.  However, after seeing pictures of her walking out of the cafe, I’m not sure if she deserves any slack.

I was happy to see Kristen eating a salad and not some huge burger and fries.  Hopefully this means that she is trying to be healthy and stay fit – possibly even trying to lose some weight (fingers crossed – hehe).  It looks like she is drinking some sort of ice tea with her salad, which hopefully doesn’t have too much sugar in it.  I wish we could see what was on the salad, if she used dressing and how much of it she ate.

If you look at the pictures of her standing up, it doesn’t look like she has lost any weight at all…she might have even gained a few pounds.  Kristen still looks pretty solid and tightly fitted into those white pants, gross in my opinion.

On a good note, at least we know she cleans up after herself.

    If I was her, i would still try to lose weight. She’s not fat at all but she’s not in the super skinny section.

    Hi Skinny Gurl! Just wanted to thank you so much for posting all these motivating pictures and tips on how to lose weight! In the past two weeks i’ve lost 7-8 pounds!! :D I’m so happy. Only 12 pounds more to go until I reach skinny perfection!

    Oh & would you call someone who’s 5’8″ and 105 pounds skinny?

      thats the same as me ! good luck on losing that extra 12 pounds (: im trying to drop another 15 though i think i will struggle ! im not sure if i would call myself super skinny yet though so will keep working at it! If you want a tip try only eating soup for a week….sounds random but i lost 5 pounds in one week from that! just had one carton of soup a day, it fills you up and only 200 calories per carton! Good luck! x

    I know you weren´t asking me – but 105 lbs at 5´8 is amazing! I´m as tall as you are and my lowest weight is 108, so I can imagine what this looks like! Keep it up, it´s definitely worth it!

      Fili-thanks! I’m not 105 pounds now (I’m 117), but I’m hoping to get to 105 before my birthday, which is September 28th!

          thank you heidi! :) And congrats for getting to your goal weight! You must look great!! I’m gonna try super hard to eat super healthy and excerise a ton until I reach 105! being skinny is #1 on my b-day list!!:)

          Thats fantastic Heidi! I’m the same height as you and my goal weight is 95/94lb too! Can you give me some tips on how you got down to that weight? What do you eat and what exercise do you do each day? Thanks :) xx

            I am a vegan, so i guess it does help a little. But other from that, i try to eat fruits when i feel hungry and i exercice one hour every day. You just need to stop thinking of food as something fun and instead only eat whats good for you when you need it. Keep on the good work! It’s nice to see that there are other girls that care about their body! xxxx

    Even if she tries to lose weight, she still has to eat, you know.

    I always feel sorry for celebrities when I see pictures of them eating. I would probably never eat out if I knew that someone would take a picture of me and comment on what I should/should not eat.

    (it’s not a negative comment towards skinnygurl, in case anyone think it is, just a general thought:))

    Don’t be fooled by salads, lol! They can have over 1000 calories if you use a high-cal dressing. When in doubt, use lemon juice (or lime or orange juice) + salt + pepper as dressing.

      or even ketchup as dressing, lol1 just make sure to use organic ketchup because regular is loaded with high fructose corn syrup.

    kristen bell holds most of her weight in her legs, it seems. only people with reaaalllly thin legs should wear white pants, or else they’ll look even bigger. common sense, kristen.
    I do like her hair :)

    you cant even see her body in the first 3 pics, but Justin Long is hottt…but yea i dont think she looks bad in those white pants!! at least shes wearing her size and not something too tight like Mischa Barton!

    Girls just a note of caution: while under 100 sounds amazing-sometimes #s can be misleading. At 115 I was shopping in childrens and was threatened with one more pound lost I would be admitted to the hospital. Measurements are more reliable. Maybe its genetic cause a few years ago my cousin had the same issue, but she didn’t use moderation and gained a lot. My measurements were 33 22 1/2 34.

        Definitely agree with Michelle! Everybody has a different body type, and I know that I for one – a classic hourglass, with broad hips and shoulders and exaggerated curves – wouldn’t be able to pull off anything below around 115, especially at my height (5’8).

        115 is my ultimate goal. My long-term goal is to get under 120 and never see that number again. Getting closer!

    You guys are right. You shouldn’t try to get under 100. you should just try to reach a healthy weight and be fit and eat healthy. you can eat sweets, just in a moderation.
