Kasia Struss – Versace Pre-Fall 2011

Here is the lovely Kasia Struss, the new face for the Versace Pre-Fall 2011 Collection.  I was surprised to see Kasia since Ginta Lapina seemed to be the favorite of Versace for a while there.  Ginta was the face of Versace’s Resort Collection for 2011 and she’s opened one of their latest shows – Versace Milan S/S 2011

I’m happy Kasia is the new face for this Versace collection.  I’ve always been a big fan of Kasia and I love her even more now that she has achieved super skinny status.

I think Kasia looks so lovely…even better than she did before.  I love the designs and colors of this collection.  I can’t wait to see them in person and add a few to my wish list : )

Who do you like better as the face of Versace – Kasia or Ginta?

Here are some of the images from the collection – I didn’t post them all.

These clothes are amazing…that blue/red dress w/ the belt is divine. Kasia’s body looks wonderful, but I think I prefer Ginta’s look -her face is a little more unique.

  4. skinnybananas says:

    Glad you’re back Skinnygurl (:

Kasia’s definitely skinnier than Ginta, but I think I still prefer Ginta’s look better.

  5. grace says:

I LOVE #3, that dress is so cute and the leggings and shoes are ACE! And I love the last look. I agree, Ginta has a more memorable face, kasia is kinda forgettable. But I would KILL for her super skinny arms!

Skinnygurl, are you planning anything from the Golden Globes? I saw some thinspo and definitely some reverse thinspo(Christina Aguilera!)

skinnygurl, seeing that you’re back made my day!

I was reading through your older posts, including the baby food diet ones. I noticed that you didn’t eat anything until around 10pm. I was wondering if you always eat like that or not.

love he simplicity of her posing and clothes are amazing

TOO SKINNY, shes starting lose her beauty her head looks to large for her neck starting to look like a boble head now.

I love the last photo + the dress in #3. I like the simplicity of her posing, compared the the bright colored clothing. I’m happy to see Kasia instead of Ginta Lapina. Kasia looks more professional compared to Ginta.

  9. Elle says:

Hmmm… I still think there is a difference between “simple posing” and poor effort. These pictures appear to be the latter… :\

  10. Katie says:

    I weigh 120 pounds and I’m 5’2″

  11. RK says:

i thought these were pictures from the sims or something. they’re ridiculous. i agree with the head-looks-too-big comment. plus, over-edited photos

  12. mew says:

Gorgeous! Her legs are amazing. Perfect thinspo!! Welcome back SG!

  13. Anya says:

kasia looks wonderful, as always :)

you know, she was also the face for the 2010 spring versace atelier collection..

I think she looks better than ginta.

  14. Fili says:

I can´t decide, they both look stunning. Kasia´s legs are better that Ginta´s, but Ginta has the prettier face… I leave it to someone else to answer this question!
And I´m so happy you´re back, Skinnygurl!

amazing thinspo, esp the last is my favourite… will print and hang on my fridge asap!!! and all the clothes are to die or kill for…. btw i have been wondering and want to hear some opinions, i am 177-ish cm tall and about 49 kg, do you think i should go for the 45 or 47 will be good. ( i know, i know.. it’s subjective.. it depends… blablabla… but for someone of my height what do you think would look best?? i will lose some more, but can’t decide where to stop, so any suggestions?)

Ok. I don’t quite know how to put this, since in many ways commenting on here goes against my normal policy of just being a fly on the wall. I am affected by a professional point of view, and this comment got to me.

Right now you have a bmi of about 15.6 which is severely underweight. Since I don’t know your age, natural build, medical history or state of mind, I cannot/will not judge this fact.
If you go down to 47 or 45kg you will have a bmi of about 15-14.4. I just recently experienced a patient at a clinic (where I have an internship) die of heart failure caused by long term malnutrition/undernourishment. She had a bmi of 14. She was 21 years old. She is one of many. Bmi does not account for certain factors and is not a measurement of health. But taking into account the general ideology of the site and the fact that you seem be very weight conscious, I am taking for granted that you are in fact not naturally this thin, which indicates that you are forcing your body into prolonged starvation mode. I am very sorry if this is not the case.
I follow a lot of these types of sites as they are of great interest to my field of study (major in psychology and nutrition), but VERY RARELY comment, as I am aware of the fact that 99% of the people following/sharing on these sites are not in a state of mind which is open to “advise” from a “know it all” like me ;P, and that there is very little I can do. I cannot convince you (or anybody) of something that you yourself have not acknowledged. THIS IS NOT A DIAGNOSIS. This is just facts. You can disregard it if you wish, as I am sure you will. No hard feelings. I do not know you, or anybody else on this site, and have no wish to attack anybody’s personal freedom. But you did ask for suggestions/opinions ;)

Your body, your life, your choice.

But from a biological point of view, your body has physical limits to what it can endure. Whether this fits your personal views on beauty or not, does not change this.
I wish you and everyone here a lovely day, with lots of selfloving and good karma! Peace out beautiful ladies. <3

    @lily:
I would say 48 kg would look amazing, don´t go too far. I´m 178 cm and weigh 50 Kg, and I´m totally OK with that. Maybe we don´t have the same build, but for me, less than 48 would look unhealthy.
Well, the most important thing is that you´re comfortable in your own skin :)
    Good luck!

    Kasia is beautiful.
    Stunning.
    That is all.

  19. Amy says:

I love outfits 3, 4, 6, and 12. Only someone as thin as Kasia could pull those looks off… hopefully soon I can be in those outfits looking as fabulous as she does :)

  20. Mary Ann says:

wow! loved all the outfits! specially #6! great body, looks fabulous!
