When I think of [Country] Next Top Model, I usually picture the contestants as more reality TV oriented.

Montana looks like she fits very well into high fashion. She's cute and thin, she doesn't stand out all that much but I think she has the potential to.

Anyone know how she was on the show?

Well, clearly Aussie ANTM is waaay better than the American version! I love her face, and she actually a modelesque height/weight to boot.

So many of the girls on NTM just don't seem to go anywhere, so it's great that Montana's gotten into high fashion. A lot of girls on NTM in every country, even if they win, don't seem cut for high fashion:

Her face looks so bland and she doesn´t seem to have anything special or outstanding about her looks. You can call it versatile, you can call it boring - I just don´t feel anything looking at her pics.

Alice Burdeu won the third cycle of Australia's NTM, she pops up in some good shows.
Montana seemed really focused on the show, pretty quiet compared to Simone (the blonde) but she could have the occasional bitch. Wouldn't say she's a bitch though, it was more funny than anything. So glad she won!

Montana is signed to IMG Worldwide after turning down an offer from Next :) She is also signed with Chic in Australia.

She just walked in Chanel Resort 2013 today (Karl Lagerfeld took a liking to her :)) and she's rumored to have booked the Oscar de la Renta fragrance campaign.

Also, Vogue Australia tweeted last month I think about shooting Montana, so I'm inclined to think that she'll have a cover/ed coming out soon. Hopefully a cover since Vogue Australia usually only tweets girls that get the cover :)

Oh yeah, Montana also booked several campaigns in Australia in the past few months after her win and some catalogue work.

I'm sure she'll improve over time. Patricia van der Vliet's work was not very impressive in the beginning of her career either, but now she's amazing (IMO).

Also, they probably wouldn't have sent her to so many 2nd/3rd tier castings this season. I don't really see why they would bother pushing her, or even how.

Oh I :luv: looove Monty! I've never voted on any reality show in my lifetime, but I voted for her. I thought it was so important that for once, someone who would get some real WORK would win it. That shot of the three of them at Bondi, got SO MUCH skinny hate (it was posted in a major newpaper here a couple days before the finale, they were the top three). It was all ""SHES TOO SKINNY, EWW!" and "LIZ SHOULD WIN SHES A REEL GRL WOOP!" all over every medium. I'm thrilled she's so successful, it's like saying shut up fatties, she was the real deal! She lost some weight between the before-last ep and the live finaly, so she was thinner in those Bondi photos than on the show IMO. So proud of her for realising how serious being a model was, losing the few pounds she possibly could, and killing it, making the other two look like jokes!

The most successful girl is actually Patricia van der Vliet (from Holland's Next Top Model), but Montana is definitely in the top 5. She skipped HC this season but she said she's walking in F/W 2013! This will be her first time walking in New York.

Former Australia’s Next Top Model winner and Miss Vogue cover girl Montana Cox has lent her babin' looks to sister/brother dream-team Camilla and Marc for their Autumn/Winter 2013 campaign.

Their latest collection, entitled The Fundamentals is all about keeping it simple. Having played around with symmetry and structure, the result is a classic compilation of clean, cocktail pieces which showcase the label’s luxury ethos, and obviously, their design fundamentals. Rendered in a minimal colour palette that features mostly khaki, black and cement grey, the statement print is an absolute standout with its colourful, detailed metallic chain and floral print.

Boasting great separates including anoraks, drop crotch pants, blazers and lace trousers, the collection makes the imminent onset of cooler weather something to actually look forward to.

The Fundamentals is available in stores from today.

I don't know. She's obviously not ugly or anything, but I just find her face so plane that I wouldn't look her twice if I saw her walking down the street. She is very pretty, but there's nothing modelesque about her. Same goes with her body.

She is frustrating to shoot with. Quite wooden and needs *constant* direction. I can only speak for a few instances on a personal basis though I've heard similar from others. I was on a long job with her at one point and couldn't figure out if I wanted to shoot her or myself to end the pain.

Also, she *really* needs to work on her body. She's "skinny fat" to a T.

Something has happened to this girl, she has gotten...:run: a little large. She was never "vlada thin" but this is too much, her face now is bloated and wrong and...please Monty go back to your original ways! I can't believe she is still being booked, no wonder her international career didn't take off the way it was predicted, too much partying girl. :nervous:
