So today while I was babysitting, one of the little boys (who is 4) told me "Wow you are really skinny!" :luv: I asked him if was a good thing, "That's a very good thing!" Since little kids are pretty much the most honest people out there, I was super flattered. It's nice to know all our hard work is paying off. What's the nicest thing someone ever told you about your weight? This one is defiantly up there. :D

my flatmate turned to me the other day and was like 'your thighs are tiny!' :luv: made my day!
My superskinny ballet friend offered to share her cute clothes with me "because you're the only friend I have who'd fit in them." She's been inspiring me for the past two years to get skinny.

My friend told me that I've got killer legs (not in the sense that they're long but that they're pretty skinny).
I'm hoping one day I'd get similar compliments for my arms

All of your stories are so awesome! I was smiling as I read them
I was in the Eaton Center (huge mall in Toronto), waiting for a friend outside of H&M. A really good-looking guy came over, and says, "I'm sorry if this sounds weird, but I'm shopping for my sister's birthday. There's a dress she wants, and you look like you're about her size. What size do you wear here? I would ask a salesperson but none of them are nearly as thin as you and her."

generally people are more negative about my weight... i get told to gain weight quite often (but i LOVE it)
once at school the teacher brought her 7 year olds batman dressing up costume in, and everyone was like OMG THAT WOULD FIT LORA, LORA PUT IT ON so i did....and it fit! (not lengthwise of course, but still) that was hilarious...:p haha

I was at work, and a customer asked if we had anything besides creamer to put in the coffee. I told her that we had skim milk, and that it tasted very good. She looked at me and was like, "a skinny girl like you doesn't need to drink skim milk!" but she was saying it in a nice way . . . LOL. All the while, I'm thinking "yeah, that's WHY I'm slender." (I would not call myself skinny, so it's sweet when other people do!)

omg tonight it happened! i was in the changing room at the gym and two girls (maybe about 13-14?) walked past me, and as they did one of them whispered to the other 'omg that girl is so skinny' and they both stared.
i worked out SUPER HARD after that :) :luv:

Ah I saw this thread yesterday but hadn't been inspired by anything (sadface!)
BUT!
Today, my fiance literally made me whole week of dieting worth it by saying he could see my thigh gap, and that my legs were looking incredibly toned... I'm so happy!
His comments have spurred me on to stay clean, it's been 6 days and counting that I've been 100% good and it feels FAB. Not long I know for some of you seasoned skinnies but it's been 2 years since I properly looked after myself every day, this is a major breakthrough xD

"Size 0 is too big for you? Eat a sandwich, you bitch!"
Rude comment in a changing room - turned around and said, "yeah, I'm a SKINNY bitch" and walked out feeling a million dollars ...

Good for you girl :) you tell those bitches how it is! Can't stand people expressing their jealousy through direct rudeness, they deserve to be slapped.

Slendergirl I sympathize so much, when it's been weeks since I've looked after myself properly 6 days in a row is a MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH! So kudos to you girlfriend! Hoping my new rap sheet will catch up soon :)

even íf some comments are rude, they just keep your self esteem up :)

It happens always to me  not such rude comments tough :p
Anway, last week at a party I met a girl who attends some classes with me at school, and she said lots of lovely things about how i looked. She was commenting on my dress and on how it fits well to me and she told me: "You could be model, everything fits you so well!:luv:
And I was like WTF :wtf: I'm so short and she replied that I'm so skinny and proportionate that I look like a small-scale model. She was a way too kind but I loved her words :)

Aww this is great to read about all the compliments you girls are getting(and even the rude things, because we all know it's just jealousy haha) it makes me really want to work hard to be skinny so maybe I can get one too haha.

School lunch today. One girl from my course (different class, I don't know her really) just stopped talking when I sat down in her table, and was like: "o_o Have you ALWAYS been so damn skinny?" and before I could say anything, this other girl also commented something about how lean I looked. I just got really confused. :D

OK I have 2 stories...
1. My bestie just had a baby I went to the caffeteria for some much needed coffee and a little girl turned looked and stared for a few moments and without looking away she tugged at her mom and loudly whispered as young ones do..
"Mommy is she a real live princess?"! PRICELESS!
Second happened over the weekend.. I was at the benefit ball with my man and his mom's close friend leans over during dinner and says.. "God your tiny!" You look amazing! Im on cloud 9 still!!!
Haha okay so this is a little bit different, but at my lowest, I didn't get a lot of compliments, but I did get a TON of people asking how I was so thin. Asking about my diet / exercise routine, etc.
Too bad at the time I had gotten dumped and just didn't really eat for a few months. I had no ground breaking advice to offer and was heart broken so I didn't really stop to appreciate being so slim at all at the time!

Last week me and my man were messing around and he was holding my legs up in the air or something and they were pressed together and he took his hand and put it through the gap that is starting to form between my thighs and said that this was new.
I'm not as small as I'd like but I'm def getting closer. Made me super happy!

I often got more negative/concerned comments when I was at my thinnest (which wasn't even underweight, jebus), but a happy memory of mine includes one of the first times my boyfriend and I were playing around, tickling each other, and he put his hands around my waist and said, "Wow! You are the skinniest person I have ever met! My fingers just about touch!"
>)
One of his friends said I must live on air. xD
I can't wait until the fall when we go to this festival we attend every year and see all his friends who live in other cities. By then I should be much skinnier!

Not weight-related, but I love when people estimate me several years younger than I actually am! :luv:
Thereīs something about my looks that make people think Iīm 16/17 rather than 22. I donīt know what it actually is.
I always have to show my ID card whenever I buy alcohol or cigarettes. And earlier today I submitted my application for design school and the secretary told me politely that the formular wasnīt valuable without my parentīs signature on it
I canīt get enough of experiences like this!
A friend of mine is 27, and sheīs also alwas mistaken for a teenager. I really hope I can keep it up to this age!

Funny that you like that. That happens to me too, all the time. I'm 20, and sometimes people think I'm younger than my sister, who's 16. I always tell them this will turn into an advantage once I'm in my mid-20s, like you said.

Itīs maybe because I donīt really feel my age, but I also because I see it as a future advantage. If I can keep it up, Iīll age a lot more comfortably.

One of my favorite memories is my first day at a new job. I went to meet with my first customer ever and he takes a look at me and he says: "God, you're thin." We had a laugh, he didn't mean anything more than what he said by it, but he definitely made my day.

Yesterday was so funny
So I was at a fair in a nearby town with my boyfriend and a couple of friends, we all were a little drunk and fooling around.
My boyfriend (jokingly) called me dumb and that heīs only with me because I made him look smart in comparison. Heīs such a douche sometimes
I just rolled eyes and explained to the others that he always calls me dumb or fat - ironically, but happens quite a lot.
The irony of it all is that heīs quite overweight and at least 160 lbs heavier than me, so everyone looked at us like "are you kidding me?", and thatīs when all the fun started - lots of compliments for me, lots of evil jokes on him! Well deserved, mister :hmm:
Of course it was all in a jokingly, friendly way, no one got offended.

At Banana Republic the other day I was trying on dresses and I left the dressing room to look at myself in the three-way mirror. I saw a woman staring at me each time I tried on a different dress. When I finished trying on clothes and was leaving the dressing room area she called out to me and said she thought I had a beautiful figure and that every dress looked gorgeous!

There was one time when I was walking down a set of stairs in skinny jeans and a shirt with my mum and a group of three girls (about 16-17) said "oh wow, she's so skinny" with a tone of admiration as I passed them, rather than in a negative way like it's usually vocalised

when i wanted to buy some jeans shorts 2 weeks ago, i was in this shop with my boyfriend, i asked for a medium (there were just sizes as xs,s,m,l,...), the girl just didn't wanted to give me that. she insisted that i need xs or s, and she did not gave me the bigger size:grin: , she resisted to do that even if i asked again fot that bigger size. she said that i would need a smaller number, and the smaller number she gave me even fit:)
That is so lovely.. I can't wait for this ;) I'll get back to you
