Baby Food Diet – Day 2

After doing my first post on my first day of the Baby Food Diet, I got a lot of comments. Some of you expressed concern, others thankfulness and praise (thank you!!!) and others were interested in participating. I’ve just responded to a lot of your comment on the original post, however here is a basic summary of some more details and responses to your questions:
I’m doing this the healthy way and not for a very long time, in fact today (Day 3) is probably going to be my last day. I’ve been taking all my vitamins and supplements and getting plenty of fluids. My weight was 104.5lbs (yes, I gained some weight over the past few months, a pound or two is muscle from all my exercise) when I started and part of my motivation for doing the baby food diet was to get back to my double digit weight of 98lbs quickly. I’m posting my results, research and progress because I know the majority of you are interested in seeing it and are curious about the baby food diet. After I complete all my research on the baby food diet, I am going to come up with my own Skinny Gurl Baby Food Diet, with rules and restrictions. These could possibly range from just consuming baby food, to a diet consisting of baby food and a regular meal… I just haven’t figured it out yet so please be patient. If you haven’t noticed, right now I’m doing the extreme baby food diet – only consuming small amounts of baby food – so I have a good scale to go on… no need for concern : ) I’m looking at starting the diet mid-late October since I’ll be on vacation for two weeks starting next week. Everyone is welcome to participate and have your progress posted on the site as long as you follow the guidelines set forth so we can get an accurate assessment of the diet. I’m looking forward to a pretty large group of participants who have expressed interest in participating – I’m psyched! I will definitely keep everyone updated!
My second day of the baby food diet was much easier than the first. I also lost another pound, making my current weight 101.5lbs, with a current weight loss of 3lbs in the first two days. Stay tuned for my results from today – Day 3 (my last day).

- Gerber Graduates – Pasta Pick-Ups Cheese Ravioli
- Gerber Natures Select – Apples
- This tasted just like applesauce – super yummy!
- Steaz – Zero Calorie Sparkling Green Tea
- These are super yummy drinks and they are fizzy! I’m slowly liking these as much as soda. I love that they are sparkling green tea, which is good for you, and are sweetened with leaves from the stevia plant. They also have a good amount of antioxidants and B vitamins. The only downfall is they can get pretty expensive.
