Abbey Lee Kershaw is featured in an editorial in the July 2010 issue of Vogue Nippon. The editorial is titled Born to Privilege. The photographer was Angelo Pennetta and the stylist was Sissy Vian.
I think Abbey Lee looks great – skinny and lovely as we usually see her. I love how she can capture you with her eyes, it’s very mysterious in a way. I like editorials where they have the models look directly at the camera, as opposed to them looking away or in all sorts of different directions. I really like the styling of the editorial too – it’s very classy but there is still that underlying sexiness.
What do you think?

looks like cameron diaz. she is so pretty and always in good shape.
Shes gorgeous!
I love Abbey! Thanks for posting her, it’s made my week.
I love Abbey lee kershaw. I think her eyes and teeth make her look even more unique.
She’s so pretty!
And the pictures are very nice!
God, she’s perfect. and I love the new haircut!
She is so fun to watch in pictures and in runway. She has that x factor alot of models are missing. Thanks for posting!
Skinny girl, what is your advice to small girls under 5’2 that can’t really aspire to look like 6’0 models? No matter how much weight I lose I will never have legs like that, and it’s pretty DE-MOTIVATING…It makes me feel like even if I lose weight I wont be good enough, and that makes me believe that it is useless to even try. Anyway I just wondered if you could help me look at from a better perspective? Thanks! Your biggest fan, *Goldengirl*
@ cass & Goldengirl – Your comments made my day – thank you : )
@ Goldengirl – It is hard to look really skinny when you are short, it takes a lot more work however it is achievable. And you are right you will never have legs like a 6′ model, its just a fact of your genetics. You need to embrace what you have and don’t get de-motivated. We are all different and that’s a good thing. Wear heels all the time to make your legs look longer and you’ll look taller too. Also, take short skinnies and make them your inspiration – Victoria Beckham, Kelly Ripa and Kate Moss are great examples of shorter girls that look great skinny.
Hope that helped : )
XO
i am 5’1/2.almost same like you.my lowest is 80lbs.now i’m 92.i think i’m in a complete mess.getting back on track now.such a failure
She looks amazing! I love Abby, one of my favourite models these days. And Skinny Gurl I agree with everything you said – her eyes capture you. This is such a classy shoot as well, and Abby shines in it. And like you said, there is that undertone of sexy as well.
Abby’s hair looks great as well – normally I like it longer on her, but this look really suits her.
@Gelabela exactly! She has the x factor!
@Goldengirl – hahah, let’s NOT get into a fight about who’s Skinny Gurl’s biggest fan haha (but it’s me =P )
Haha cass, lets just call it even :p We love you skinny girl!
Wow, she looks beautiful.
Skinny Gurl I am ‘skinny’ but look gaunt on the face and when I am tired it makes me look older. Do you know anyway to counter that? I’m Slavic and look ridiculous with bronzer so I am working with a pale skin tone too. I don’t think girls who aspire to be skinny realise that ‘skinny’ doesn’t always look as glam as it does in magazines, especially if you’re not actually that pretty. BTW I’ve lost weight mainly due to recessionary poverty but my weight dips when I’m anxious.
Stunning! One of my favourite editorials by Abbey ever!!! My fav pics are 2, 7, 8, and 9
